First Freepik Space 2019 Beyond Expectations
Our first Freepik Space ever was celebrated last Saturday 29th June, and we’re excited to say it was a real success! We want to thank everyone who worked to make it possible!
This was our first official event and took place in Bangkok, Thailand. Freepik’s Growth Hackers Preena Godhwani and Álvaro García traveled to Thailand to meet our contributors. They couldn’t be happier about the event outcome and the warm welcome they had there!
Over 300 people joined Freepik’s staff and Ambassador, Prakasit Khuansuwan, to spend a whole day talking about creativity and inspiration.
During the event, there were a total of five sessions given by Freepik Company‘s contributors and staff members. In these sessions, they focused on the importance of Freepik in the stock market and on the best way to optimize their resources in our platform.
Contributors Tirachard Kumtanom, Natsicha Wetchasart, Mr. Boonkue Cherdpayak, Kan Kingpetcharat, Kanin Ambhirosawat, and Anusorn Nakdee professionally addressed topics related to icons, vectors, photos, and PSD files and gave the best tips to streamline their portfolio. Speakers also shed light on the importance of uploading resources constantly and creating quality work.
One of the event’s highlights was Flaticon, a project of Freepik Company. Flaticon is one of the largest databases of free icons in the market but still an unknown world for many contributors. Thus, it came up as a promising and exciting opportunity to earn money.
The event came to an end with a roundtable session. Participants took advantage of this great chance and asked milliards of questions to our staff and speakers. They happily answered and gave them the best recommendations. Among the questions, they asked about the platform, how to streamline their creations and also made some suggestions.
Freepik Space Thailand turned out to be an ideal atmosphere for evoking creativity. It brought our contributors closer to the company. It’s been a huge opportunity for attendees to participate and expand their knowledge as well as for meeting other colleagues. The event has also allowed them to know more about Freepik Company and our values.
For us, it was a learning experience as well. We had the chance to get to know first-hand our contributors’ demands and carefully listened to their suggestions. In fact, we believe that working together is crucial to improve and expand our universe.
Of course, we want to thank all the attendees for their participation and enthusiasm. Also, we would like to give a special thanks to the staff members. Without their help, Freepik Space wouldn’t have been possible.
Actually, Freepik Space Thailand was so big that we even got published in Thailand!
What about you? Did you attend the event? Let us know your thoughts. Now, it’s time to relax, learn from this experience, and get ready for the next Freepik Space!
Thank you, Thailand!
